Anyhow, we have a spinner with 170 test wickets averaging 28 who bowls teams out on spinning pitches on the last day. I have no idea what the problem with his ability/results is meant to be tbh.

He's a decent bowler. He gets made out as the new Jim Laker though, because apparently he sends funny tweets or something.

In any event, he isn't that flash. He's a solid bowler, no more or less. That he was even momentarily the regarded the best spinner in the world is more than a little sad tbh.

Itching for one of these tests which promise to be classics during the second and third innings to actually turn out to be close. This is another which could go that way, but barring Hobart, the trend in recent times seems to be for one side to dominate in the fourth innings and it becomes a bit one-sided.

Records are meant to be broken. The team who scored 203/3 could have easily chased over 250, the team who scored 96/0 were on track too.

I understand if it were a world record across all venues, but 275 will never be absolutely daunting on any solid pitch. England need these last 2 wickets though pronto.
