Still waiting on zaremba and z-man for their responses. I did say I'll leave it until tomorrow as it's the first round, but I'll definitely post the round results tomorrow before I go to uni.

Sends it in just in time for the results, and what value it turned out to have.

Which means we have our Round 1 drafting order:

1. honestbharani - 7/10 (TB 52,000)
2. kyear2 - 7/10 (TB 71,085)
3. morgieb - 7/10 (TB 18,000)
4. KingKallis - 7/10 (TB 17,000)
5. GingerFurball - 6/10 (TB 30,500)
6. marc71178 - 5/10 (TB 73,258)
7. Spikey - 4/10 (TB 72, 812)
8. weeman27bob - 3/10 (TB 57,000)
9. rvd619323 - 3/10 (TB 63,261)
10. Pothas - 3/10 (TB 70,000)
11. Eds - 3/10 (TB 75,000)
12. Michaelf7777777 - 2/10 (TB 7,777)
13. Somerset - 1/10 (TB 61,000)
14. Blakus - 1/10 (TB 50,699)
15. Cabinet96 - 0/10 (TB 73,000)
16. Agent Nationaux - 0/10 (TB 100,000)
17. zaremba - N/A
18. z-man - N/A

The last two have just been shunted to the bottom for now. I've changed my mind about giving them a sheep, as it'll ruin the teams and provide no motivation for continuing. If I don't hear anything from either of them by the time the draft gets to them, I'll just remove them from play.

"Best" answers this round:

Eds - 8 ball overs were not used last in England in 1945. There wasn't much cricket that summer.

Spikey - Kapil Dev did indeed score his 175* at "some little piss ant ground no-one cares about", but your answer wasn't specific enough.

AN - given the celebrated 2000th Test took place last year, it's unlikely that nearly 50 wickets per Test have been taken.

Got a lot closer to the total wickets taken than I thought.

Dire apart from that though.

Haha, I can't believe I got the average of 15 wickets per team per Test spot on then forgot to double it.

the great thing about this draft is that if you're not happy about how you're going, you can just accuse someone of cheating

You're not the only one that thought that. I'm smarter at cricket trivia than people think. I do read a **** load about cricket.
Fair enough. Well done then.

Did you get the Cheema one correct? If anyone did, well done!

No-one got the Cheema one correct, which I thought was weird because people kept talking about his record during the Pakistan-England series in January. It's his record by a sizeable margin too, six matches with the next best only two or three.
