Gutting for Otago to be 4 runs short of victory when stumps were called. Should just award the match to them imo

I like the leave first-up from Bracewell. Hard to know where the field was (I presume with the line Hiini was bowling, they stacked behind point/offside) so it was probably a very good plan more than anything, one that's able to be put in place without stringent wide lines.

I could probably make a program do that if I had a look at it properly.

Think Mike's set up the channel to take the sign-up/sign-in hassle out, allows him to just put a simple link in his posts.

I haven't figured out a way to get them all at the same time unfortunately. It takes quite a while to individually go through them.
Looks like the latest version of the FlashGot add-on will do a bulk download of the mp4s you've recently watched in one click.

Ah okay...clearly I'm a nonsense at technology - can't get on that highlights.blackcaps link and find footage from the Auckland v CD game, or quite a few games I was keen on really.

Yeah, not all games are loaded. E.g the Auckland v CD game.

On the Zombie Umpiring for Gillespie's wicket. It was actually caught in the slips, the LBW turned down for an inside edge - but the ball also ballooned up into the cordon.

I wonder when Brownlie will be back?

I've just read a preview on Stuff of the Canterbury match mentioning Ellis has been release from Blackcaps 12th man duties to play - but which managed to not mention Brownlie's name at all, awesome .......

Wellington going for the draw again with basically 8 specialist batsmen. Booo Hiss.

Based on a part of this article, I'm assuming the old 1-game-old tired pitch is being used. Because ND haven't selected Mathiesen.

Bradburn has brought in pace bowler Andrew Mathieson to give his side a little more pop with the new ball but will wait and see which wicket they will play on before deciding the makeup of his XI.

"There's some question over whether we'll play on the old wicket they played Canterbury on in the last round or a fresh deck," Bradburn said.

"But I'm confident either way we have the balance to combat the conditions.

"Andy [Mathieson] provides that balance that we miss with Trent [Boult] and Tim [Southee] not around; James Baker gives us seam and swing; and Brent Arnel and Graeme Aldridge give us experience. With Andy, we get five or six extra ks and that steeple bounce."

Bradburn said he believed a fresh wicket would be ideal to chase an outright win on. "History says it's tough for us to win here but we've done well in the past few years. We think this is the best cricket wicket in the country and enjoy playing here."
I don't understand Wellington's approach. I'd perhaps understand if they think a spinning wicket will give them best chance of victory as Patel/Woodcock better than Santner/Devcich. But there is no Woodcock, only Patel.

And there is no Kuggeleijn. But medium pace allrounders coming out of their asses with Franklin, Elliot, Boam.
Wgtn have so much depth when Limited Overs internationals return. ND are the opposite and have their depth stripped when their Test players are otherwise engaged.

Wgtn need an outright, surely?
