Eh, not really. If you are looking at it purely from a strike rate perspective then yeah, but its more complicated than that.

Hilfenhaus needs to learn not to bowl no-balls. The free hit has almost removed overstepping from the game, however some still need to adapt.

Agreed. His starts have been quite slow and uncharacteristic this series (even though some have worked) and this was the worst.

He was deliberately playing safe. He was forced to by accurate bowling and the wickets column. Point is, he was clearly batting with a plan, just didn't execute.

If that was the plan, it's a **** plan. He needs to remember to score runs even whilst playing safe. They are not mutually exclusive and an ODI batsman of his calibre should know that.
