I think that's a very common phenomenon in sports.A lot of players end up playing in different roles compared to the ones they actually started off in.And this is not just true of Cricket.

For example,Rudd Gullit started his career as a defender.Only to later go on to become one of the finest attacking midfielders in the world during the late 80s.I also remember reading somewhere that Gianluigi Buffon initially started off as a Striker, but was asked to become a goalkeeper by his coach later.

Hussain, for when England bats: "If it turns and bounces, LBWs will be harder to get."

TBF he did say he was clutching at straws.

What is all this talk about delcaring? It doesn't matter if England can't chase anything over 71. Pakistan needs to take this opportunity to ton up and boost their averages.... A ton for Misbah now....bloke hasn't scored a hundred in quite some time.

Was reading just today actually that guys like Shaquille O'Neal and Dwight Howard started off as point guards before turning into dominating big men.
