*Official* English Football Season 2011-12

One wonders how long it will be until the mercurial talent that is Bébé follows him.
He's completely crocked ATM. Out for the season. Shame as a season in a lesser top-flight might have been the make/break of him, or at least his reputation.

Where did you get that impression Brumbers?
Watching them. De Gea's reflexes and basic shot-stopping are cut from a finer cloth. As of now Lindegaard as a package is probably the better bet, but he's no way a United class #1 keeper. He'll drop less obvious bollocks but there are shots he won't get to that De Gea would.

Watching them when? It's not that I could really say you're wrong, I'm just not sure where you're getting it from. He hasn't done much of note but I don't remember him flapping at many crosses and he definitely hasn't conceded any goals you'd expect De Gea to have saved.

De Gea's shot-stopping's been really poor too, fwiw. Dropped a few huge clangers at the start of the season and there's been plenty of goals where at least some would argue that he should've done better, Kuyt's being a pretty good example.

Saha to Spuds?? Interesting. So who's nabbing Defoe today then? And what merry go round will that set off this evening. So long as it ends up with us getting Messi I don't mind.

Also, according to Marcotti, AC have filled their final non EU spot in the squad, so unless Tevez rushes to Liverpool to sort a UK passport today, he's not going there

Does anyone find all this "jim White" transfer hyperbole from Sky, just excrutiating, think I'll follow it on the BBC text.

Arsenal sign Thomas Eisfeld from Dortmund for nominal fee.

Typical Wenger purchase; 19yo with eff all first team experience.

BBC reckons Defoe to Liverpool has legs too. Interesting.

He is a young prospect with good footballing talent,” the Frenchman told Arsenal Player.
Sound justification. I particularly like the way he alludes to the fact that this guy might be a footballer.
