Any Premiership defence worth it's salt would think themselves in for an easy afternoon if they were up against Mackie, DJ and Helguson.
I'd love it if these three started.
Getting my wish! Hoping for some more lovely football in the second half. I know it's Wigan, but it's such a massive game for the R's, and it's great to see them stepping up.

Hughes, you are winning me over sir.

Hmm I do usually love the guys who make sport more fun by being total wankers but with Barton there's the whole assault thing.

Fun to laugh at though. Joey Barton threatens to quit Football Manager 2012 after argument with himself | Metro.co.uk
TBH that article taken totally out of context - remember seeing it on twitter at the time - they've taken 2 or 3 out of about 30 tweets there. It was pretty clear he was only having a laugh and some banter about it.

Yet the media can cut 90% of it to make him look a ****

Gohouri injures DJ. :@ Go figure. Well, I enjoyed the 45 minutes. :(

Fellaini's handball, lol. Cahill though, pew pew. Good round of games this. Culminating in a Liverpool loss I assume.

He was given way too much time and space, but what a strike from Smith. Wow.

Great to see Blackpool come back and win too.

Happy with that actually. Thought we were the better team but we were really shaky at the back whenever we were put under pressure and in the end Everton had the better chances. Perfect illustration of why Samba is so important for us. We really lacked height and strength in the box and were extremely vulnerable from set pieces.

BBC said:
Bolton goal: Terrible defending by Liverpool, this, as Mark Davies latches on to a flick from David Ngog midway in the visitors half... and just keeps going. The Reds defence cannot close him down quickly enough to stop him getting his shot away, and he prods the ball past Pepe Reina to find the bottom corner of the net.
Did they really manage to allow Mark Davies to score from 40 yards out?

Interesting defending for Bolton's second. Adam and Gerrard both stood and watched as Reo-Coker ran straight past the pair of them. You need to have one man tracking back and sitting... or simply some work rate.

You've got to admire ESPN, for having two 'pool legends as their panel. They may just put up a sign saying "no-one gives a **** about Bolton", in the studio.

While disrespecting Bolton should be encouraged, let's not give plaudits to anyone ******** enough to pay John ****ing ****ing ****ting barnes for his opinion. Pretty clear that the p in ESPn stands for prick

If it wasn't for Bellamy I'd deadset top myself after last night. Quite possibly the worst I have ever seen us. I feel like ranting about Carroll and so many other things, but it's all been said.

Looking forward to tonight, think I'll be supporting the Manchesters, but two good games would be most welcome. :)

I actually thought Carroll was a bit above his usual ****e. Lovely knock on for the goal.

Please take it back about cheering for the Manchesters :( not the red ones anyway!
