Entire squad needs a complete overhaul if they are to remain in the Premiership for any meaningful period. The only players they have that are up to Premiership standard are Joey Barton and Luke Young. Jury is still out on Taarabt and Faurlin. Kieron Dyer will probably never be fit again so we can discount him as well. The rest of the squad consists of mediocre/crap players who just about cut it in the Championship.

Anton Ferdinand probably somewhere between being an acceptable Premiership player/good Championship player as well. Probably.
My take -

Mainstays - Taarabt, Faurlin, Mackie, Barton, Young

Acceptable - Kenny, Campbell, Helguson, Wright-Phillips, Ferdinand

Which is almost a side in itself. Add to that the players coming in, and they're more than capable.

For mine, Paddy Kenny is just not very good. He's one of these goalkeepers whose ineptitude is often masked by the fact that he makes a lot of saves. Championship player.

Faurlin, probably quite good, has looked ok so far, but not really tested at this level. Same thing can be said for Taarabt.

Jamie Mackie looks alright, seems to try hard, hasn't really shown anything to suggest he's cut out for playing in the top flight.

Luke Young is solid, not exactly an inspiring player, but has shown he can do a job in the Premiership, so a player of his ability and experience is probably what QPR really need.

Barton their best player by a mile, but always prone to self-destruction and controversy.

DJ Campbell a great lad, but isn't really good enough to play anything more than a bit part in a Premiership side I would say. Useful sub though. Helguson is similar. Any Premiership defence worth it's salt would think themselves in for an easy afternoon if they were up against Mackie, DJ and Helguson.

Wright-Philips is rubbish. But probably still better than any other alternative they currently possess.

No point tackling the rest of it, but I'd love it if these three started. Obviously DJ and Mackie have had their injury problems this season, but Helguson has scored against Chelsea and Man City and had a double away at Stoke iirc.

Haha, I don't think we can say that this one shows anything.

Heh. Once you stop taking this team seriously they're quite amusing. I love how Wenger already ruled out investing by criticising the January window. Something has to give.

Ah I love Swansea. Watching Stoke and Bolton hack their way to a result was always great craic but it's much more entertaining to see Arsenal beaten at their own game.

Gotta laugh. Great sight seeing that little thief Dyer run rings around Arsenal and that it was Arsenal who resorted to long ball hit and hope, while Swansea just calmly played it about and picked them off. Seen a lot of Ramsey recently and he isn’t as good as he thinks he is, pretty average, as are Arsenal.

He's a reserve tbf, Arteta, Song and Wilshere are all better by a clear margin. But I wouldn't say he's overhyped or anything the way all the English players under 25 are.

Think Ramsey is started to look tired in all fairness.
Yeah, my thoughts on him as well. Probably too seasons too early for the responsibility he has. Good god at how such a horrific summer is continuing on the pitch again. This is far worse than more people predicted. Need to hold robin to his contract and build around him to be back in the champions league.

In all honesty I don't think it's a great deal worse or better than anyone really predicted. In fact I would say the season as a whole for Arsenal has been incredibly predictable. Runs of good form, reliance on key player, stupid defeats and bad performances in games they really ought to do better. Standard.

Don't think it's too early for Ramsay to be honest. Probably should have played fewer matches if possible, but if he's going to cut it then in the team and playing games is where he needs to be. No point in having players who are perpetually considered to have "potential" despite being well out of their teens and still not able to break into the team.

I think diaby is a better player than ramsey but we were never buying a better one so might as well take a shot. Losing jack hurts us so much.
