Na I reckon SA's bowling attack is just too damn good now for any overall team incoherence to get in the way of success. I think it will only be a matter of time before SA become no. 1 tbh. Australia lack the batting prowess at this stage, and we probably won't get to no.1 for a long time yet.

They got hammered by 200 hundred runs by a team who doesn't have a bowling attack.

Anyway, one run off the bat in six overs. Has the pitch livened up a little?
Not especially. England have some impetus behind them at the moment, and they've been bowling aggressively and fielding very well. The batsmen are just looking to stay there atm.

Also, I've no slow-motion, let alone hot-spot, but it looked like Porterfield's dismissal was very rough on him. Probably missed it.

Edit: Nice timing from Coetzer. Shot of the day.

& The ball falls to the ageing maestro with an open goal at his mercy, surely Brumby can't miss from here:

"Damn you, BCCI!!"

Saqib Ali should be kicking himself for that. You know that Marcus North shot, first dig at Adelaide that finally ended his Test career? Yeah.

Assuming it's only one game, it'd be stiff for Dockrell to go that far for one game, only to be 12th man in the first place.

Yeah, hence the "I think it will only be a matter of time" part of it. The results aren't going there way now, but I am confident they will reap the rewards in due course.

People have been saying this for years.

Stream is vastly better today. Not just up, but with the sound working and they've got replays now. Yesterday it wasn't even as good as the dodgiest of illegal streams.

Still not worth what I paid for it, but decent.

Oddly, it puts the match totals in the top left rather than the score, so it currently says 300/3 plays 185. Makes it look like we're getting destroyed. I keep mentally taking 281 off.
