ICC Combined Associate and Affiliate (AM) XI v England. January 7-9, 2012

cricinfo had him heaps younger for ages, it's only now that i've noticed they've made him older, i think they used to have him as the dob listed on wikipedia currently (15/07/91)

iirc he was "18" when he made the 214* against canada

Good declaration IMO. No point giving Jimmy and Finny a bat for half an hour, better to give the bowlers another go and hope to get another decent bat tomorrow, which in now looking likely.

It's funny I had a feeling they were going to bat like plonkers today. just hope it's because they've had a lay off and not that they've all suddenly found themselves out of form, looks like Cook's still going strong though.
Bowlers look like they are doing alright out there, should be a interesting last day.

Is the current ICC Combined Associate and Affiliate XI's bowling attack better than what India put up in England in the fourth test?

(RP Singh, Ishant Sharma, Sreesanth, SK Raina and part timer Amit Mishra)

Haha yeah; the blokes looks almost 30; was one of the most obvious cases of a wrong DOB ever.

Shahzad has a habit of playing a long way forward, and then as the ball is being fielded, belatedly drops to one knee. It's like he wants to hold the pose for the cameras but forgets until he's already played the shot.

Shahzad runs out Viljoen - wasn't backing up, and sends Viljoen back on an easy single, Viljoen runs 9/10 of the pitch in both directions and unsurprisingly is out

Clearly not inspirational enough to get his name right, though.
