***Official*** India in Australia 2011/12

Jono

Virat Kohli (c)
Agree with Jono, reckon Sachin doing the 100th ton in Sydney is a good bet. Lara and Sachin loved the joint.
I think Laxman may have scored a ton in every match he's ever played in Sydney too.

3 on the trot: iirc 99/00, 03/04 and 07/08.

GIMH

Norwood's on Fire
My series prediction = 2-1 Australia
Aus to win in Melbourne and Perth
India to win in Sydney
Adelaide to be a snore draw

Tendulkar to average 30-odd and still await the 100th 100. He'll get it in the ODIs (assuming he's playing them )
Sehwag to play a monster innings in Adelaide
Ponting to ton up Boxing Day and retire at the end of the series
Clarke to have a stellar series
Haddin to get out in a braindead manner
India's 'bowlers' to bring the lols

Somehow I am not convinced that our bowlers can bowl Australians out twice...

We badly need a fit Zaheer and some super spells from Ashwin and Ojha.

Ojha to struggle over here, I just don't think he'll get enough out of the pitches. Ashwin has to be the man picked.

Even then, Ajmal didn't have a great time over here working with a similar MO, can spin it both ways but not huge either way.

Everyone's talking about a fit Zaheer but I think he'll get dominated early on in the series.

Ausage

Cricketer Of The Year
Aus 2-1 - Wins in Perth and Melbourne, loss in Sydney due to Australian patented batting collapse
Most Runs: Warner
Most Wickets: Pattinson
Ponting to fail but maintain his spot by announcing retirement at the end of the series after Melbourne
Indias bowling to do better than expected in spite of an on/off tour from Zaheer with their batsmen doing worse
Surprisingly cordial series from both teams to the disappointment of the media
