Honestly, my gut feel is that Lyon reacts better to being tonked than Swann. On very little hard evidence, granted.

Ashwin and Yadav to do well.

Can't love Yadav enough tbh. Finally someone who can both bowl 145+ and is one of the best in FC cricket in India.

Rohit Sharma as the fifth bowler. Can't find a photo of his bowling action in an India match as back up, though. May do a Nathan Astle or Chris Gayle for India in this series, until they find someone fuller. He's also stroking the ball more freely.

Expect Vinay Kumar to play all four Tests. With neither Zaheer nor Ishant fully fit, one may play, break down (or have a hint), and then the other will come in. He's also the only one of the extras (himself, Mithun, Ojha) who isn't really a mouse and is somewhat more useful, with loads of FC experience, multiple trips down under, capable batsman and fielder, good form on the way here.

Drop ins have improved quite a bit in recent times.

Don't have the natural properties of a wicket block though and, as such, tend not to naturally deteriorate as much as the game wears on.

Yup, been a bit greener this season early on because of the lack of deterioration. Some big fourth innings scores so far this year at the 'G.
