Imo, it's Pakistan that should lose points. For not being able to convince India to play them.

Just offer a little cash, and she comes running to play.Imo, it's Pakistan that should lose points. For not being able to convince India to play them.
And the BCCI isn't?It's a simple issue and can't see why tons of people seem to be complicating it beyond what it is. A summary:
1. Cricket between India and Pakistan has always been a factor of politics and the relation between the two countries. One might argue that it shouldn't be so, but it is so and will continue to be given the huge popularity of the sport in both countries and it's association with patriotism.
2. The BCCI has not come up with any policy of not playing Pakistan - it's the Indian government's decision and quite obviously BCCI cannot override it. At the same time the government has given an implicit go ahead for matches in tournaments. BCCI is a money hungry organization and will not let go of any chance to earn some easy dough from an India-Pakistan series.
Personally, I feel there should not be any bilateral cricket between India and Pakistan. PCB is a government run organization in Pakistan and according to me the Pakistan government has been guilty of some ugly events in India, implicitly of explicitly. Boycotting a cricketing structure won't change the policy, but will at least send out an unheard message.
No the BCCI isn't.And the BCCI isn't?
And it wasn't the Pakistani government that was involved, rather a fringe element in the Pak military.
No, it isn't.And the BCCI isn't?
Don't want to get into a more than superficial political discussion on a cricketing thread and section, which is why I wrote implicitly or explicitly. And I also clearly stated that it's my personal opinion - obviously I don't have any ultra secret facts to back it up.And it wasn't the Pakistani government that was involved, rather a fringe element in the Pak military.
I won't be contributing to any mess that arises, rest assured. This could get messy
Lack of sponsorship, money making opportunities.I've always wondered why B-desh never toured India but we toured there like 3-4 times already. Why have India refused to host B-desh?
Actually I take back my words.. a second string Pakistani pace attack of Gul, Riaz and Junaid should be enough..While it is unfair, but I am not concerned about it. Pakistan needs to stop begging India for a series and at this stage it is not such a bad thing. I have no intention of seeing Sehwag score triple centuries on flat pitches against Pakistani medium pacers.
Only it isn't your second string attack but your first choice attack.Actually I take back my words.. a second string Pakistani pace attack of Gul, Riaz and Junaid should be enough..
