Oh no do it, can bring in some lovely North v South hatred. Scaly can hate both for not being from Durham will be great.

Whatever it takes!!!
Don't we need a decision on GF's pick? I think it is selling myself, smileyshah and perhaps a few others real short here...

Sorry GF but the rules are clear. And others would have picked him had the rules permitted it. You need to pick someone else IMHO.

Yeah I do rather agree in sentiment with GF but the rules clearly say that is purley down to tests played.

If GF was legitimate in selecting Compton, then I suggest before every round we should have a list of cricketers who are allowed to be picked in spite of not being elligible by the letter of the law.

For the time being, Compton shouldn't be allowed in this round. If that means GF is leaving, let him enjoy his overreaction.

A Scottish genius who departed us all tragically early. No, not, GingerFurball, but Archie Jackson

I'm really not bothered about this either way, to be honest. I'm not going to insist that GF change his pick. But given a few people may have lost out on the pick by sticking to the literal rules, and that GF should have raised objections at the beginning if he had them, I should think it would be courteous of him to change.

Whatever it takes!!!
nah.. the problem here, is that Compton would be available for the next set of drafts by the rules. It is not just about GF picking him..

And the other part is, why have rules if you are not going to follow them?

Just pick someone else. The rules are not supposed to be absolutely perfect.

Missed out on 3 players by missing my turn by a few hours too.
