Yeah, it seemed a little reckless to me. He'd only just come to the crease, with his team 4/172 chasing 423, only a few overs till stumps, and he starts charging the bowler.
Not exactly displaying the kind of cricketing nouse that will impress the selectors.

You will find few Sheffield Shield fans who are not massive fans of Cowan. Played well today and needs the runs as his consistency over the past two seasons has been poor.
