Been out since Hughes got dismissed so I haven't seen it, but if what Haddin had been trying to do actually came off then would everyone here be praising him for counter-attacking out of a dire situation? Whereas because of the nature of how he had to bat, the nature of his dismissal looks utterly abysmal?
Oh yeah I am sure he would be praised and as ever it is a very fine line but there is a difference between a counter-attack and one totally lacking in any method whatsoever, it was just horrible waft.

As has been said, this may be a valid point if the ICC do not sanction this pitch. However, maybe we should wait and see what they do before criticising decisions they haven't made yet, eh?
^^^^^^^^^^^^^

If the ICC does nothing then you're free to have a whinge in here HB but it's a bit rough to criticise them before they even make a decision.

why exactly? IS it wrong to point out stupidity on the ICC's part?

FTR, I don't have any problem with this sorta wicket or the sort that SA got in Kolkata.. It is the flat ones that really should be reported.
It's stupid until you've waited to see if they do report it.

Whatever it takes!!!
Show me the facts that show the ICC/Umps/Captains haven't reported this pitch or **** off
wait till the end of the match and you will have your proof.

Of course, I wil GLADLY take back what I said if they do report it. But, till then, previous form shows ICC won't do anything about it and a few guys will talk about how such pitches make cricket interesting now and then.

Again, nothing wrong with any of that except that the same somehow does not apparently apply the moment they see a wicket helping spinners.

It's a bit dumb to moan about when thee ICC and the referees can't report it yet.

The argument is that there's no real point discussing this until the match is over the and match referees make a decision one way or another; until then it's a moot point, so it'd be nice if everyone waited until then to discuss it.
