I'm not super fussed on who they pick as the fourth bowler tbh; I'd love Copes to play but I'd be surprised if he does get the nod, and I'm pretty confident that Siddle will do a good job if picked. As for Cummins, the excitement over the bloke means that in the (hugely) off chance he does play, I wouldn't mind too much. For once I'm pretty happy with the squad and reckon any of them will do at least a serviceable job.

So, so excited for this series though, and even more annoyed that I have to be studying for exams.

So pumped for this series!

Is the weather holding up alright? I heard there was a rumour of a shower or two.

Hope this is a good series, but the most important thing is to make sure lots of good and in form Australian players get injured.

Typical, bleeding rain! Thought it was only supposed to rain in England! Runours abound that Vernon Philander is to get the nod for the third specialist bowling slot in the SA side, would be pleased with his selection ahead of Tsotsobe. Imran Tahir also going to get his debut it seems.

Looks a very decent side that. Be interested to see how the in-form Rudolph goes on his return to Test cricket. A stage befitting his runscoring over the last few years. Love that middle order of Amla, Kallis and De Villiers, and Prince there in case there is a wobble and he has to dig in to consolidate the innings.

Haven't seen massive amounts of Philander but I'm sure he'll make more of an impression than Tsotsobe would do. Tahir a more attacking option than Harris, not a huge turner of the ball but uses his googly well and may cause problems later in the game.
