True, although I found 22nd Match, Group A: Australia v South Africa at Basseterre, Mar 24, 2007 | Cricket Scorecard | ESPN Cricinfo to be quite hilarious for different reasons.

Hayden smacking the #1 bowler in the world for 18 runs in one over was just amazing to watch. And the Kallis coming out and crabbing along at less than a run a ball when his team needed him to swing. Total momentum shift.

Yeah, that was all kinds of hilarious, but throw in the pre-game chat and you're hard pressed to find a bigger choke.

The semi final was pretty funny too, they were talking their attacking up BIG TIME and how they were going to attack McGrath when he came on to bowl, at first change, well the first 10 overs won us the match, EPIC fail that one, Kallis was out bowled charging McGrath, all sorts of weird stuff going on, it was just too easy for us.

They turned up, fancied their chances, though not as much as Scotland boss Ally MacLeod in 78 and got soundly beaten. A choke is losing a game in which 99 times out of 100 you would win or drawing with Iran and getting dumped out first round of a tournament, South Africa achieved that multiple times in the last WC not 2007.

Doubt the 2007 SA team was good enough to be called chokers for they appear to have selected too many 'quota' players which comprised the overall makeup. Australia had the best team on paper. The semi was odd in that SA chose to bat when there was movement and the proceeded to try to take the game up to the Aussie bowlers by playing out of character. Make no mistake though, the Aussie side should always have beaten that SA side. The latter's attack was over the hill but our side was almost at its peak.

Oh yeah it was a total road and a tiny ground, but it was pretty funny seeing Pollock monstered like he was some kind of third rate club bowler instead of the champion he actually was. It was also seeing Kallis totally change the game for us.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if South Africa play 2 spinners. With 3 attacking bowlers Harris could be very useful holding up an end. Started well this season too.

If the Newlands pitch is likely to turn, then it may be a good option, you still have very decent pace options in Steyn, Morkel and Kallis, depending how much bowling they want Kallis to do. It does give the side good balance.

But if the pitch is going to suit the pace bowling options, then Harris will have to sit this one out. I think Harris' case is strengthened in my eyes, by the fact that Tsotsobe is the likely third specialist seam option.
