I love Steyn's work, but Sir Frank is a very important figure in cricket; one of the immortal three Ws, the first black captain of the Windies to be appointed on a permanent basis and I love the story of him being the first man to donate his blood to the stricken Contractor who'd been felled by a Griffith bouncer.

As a man of Cambs I can't in good conscience vote against The Master & Paddles is without peer amongst his countrymen.

Muttiah Muralitharan - Really really tough choice this between the 3 for me. Love watching Steyn bowl, and Sir Frank is a very important figure in history and one of the best captains ever. But have to go with Murali for being so great for so long and at the same time always being a nice, humble person. Not too forget the smile he played the game with.

VVS Laxman - Ever so slightly over Brett Lee. Even if it is for the big match wining/ saving performances he has had in recent times.

Dennis Lillee - Not much to choose between Hadlee and Lilleee, but i guess will go with Lillee just slightly for his work at MRF Pace academy.

I guess Steyn takes this because he is a fast bowler and Murali is a spinner. Really liked both

Muttiah Muralitharan, slightly over Worrell
Jack Hobbs
Richard Hadlee

The last two were easy choices for me.

Tough draw for Malinga here and voted Worrell over Murali by a fraction.
