really? thought it was late day 1. we definitely bowled a biig chunk of the innings with 3 specialist bowlers.Happened on day 3, didn't it?
I've seen Marsh bowl some vaguely decent left-arm tweakers too but none of them are in the class of North/Smith/Clarke-pre-back-injury/Katich in terms of semi-regular bowling experience. Those other blokes were all basically batting allrounders.uh didn't you see ponting landing BOMBS in the SL tour bro?!
ftr i think usman has been working on some part-time spin

Yeah but they have Swann, and rarely want to go in without him.Or in North's case....
I guess we were spoiled there for a bit. you look at england and there's not much there bowling wise in the top 6. It's annoying but not distressing
Yeah it's not something you should just automatically expect from a batting lineup but when it doesn't exist it basically limits the times when you can comfortably go in without a spinner from "rarely" to "almost never".Or in North's case....

Want to see how De Lange goes. Looks a decent prospect.SA playing a quality A team here. Needs Friend though.
Don't know where you've got that from. Checking the commentary, Harris went off in the 143rd over, his 29th, when England were 464/6.really? thought it was late day 1. we definitely bowled a biig chunk of the innings with 3 specialist bowlers.
Bowled at about 130 when he had that horrible stint in the South African limited overs setup.Might have asked this before, but has anyone seen what Philander clocks on a speed gun?
Hmm interesting... Copeland should observe whatever the hell he is doing out there!Bowled at about 130 when he had that horrible stint in the South African limited overs setup.
Only about an hour's worth. All out shortly after lunch.Tbf we did bowl a fair few overs after 143 didn't we?

'Tis more a question of "that familiar sinking feeling" rather than anything else.Assumed from most of these posts Aus were 4 or 5 down, not 3.

Stock ball is about 133kmph to about 136kmph.Might have asked this before, but has anyone seen what Philander clocks on a speed gun?
