You've also gotta open with McKay, if he plays..and no chance Martin doesn't take the new ball. So Bracewell's destined for 1st change
Indeed. But look for him to come on after only 10 overs or so.

martin 5 overs first spell
mckay 8 overs first spell
Bracewell 8 overs first spell
Martin 2nd spell 6 overs

Something like that.

England-esque. Get a few cameos, give it away then get bowled out by spinners a few overs short of the innings allotment.

They haven't been bowled out though, Taylor retired as well so he'll be back if a wicket falls unless they decide to declare.

The innings is over anyway. It's a 90 over limit per side. They didn't get Williamson or Taylor out.

Yea, I think I'm giving up on this scorecard. It's now 343-7 and Martin didn't get his token single digit score. Give it another half an hour and it might end up 400-3 with Martin scoring an unbeaten century.

Interesting that Bracewell and McKay batted yesterday not Aldridge, think that says something about the preferred test lineup.

But 28 overs into the innings and McKay hasn't bowled yet?

Andy McKay a better batsmen then Graeme Aldridge, WTF?

Edit: You could probably argue Aldridge is a better batsmen then Bracewell on numbers too, he's averaged about 30 with the bat in first class cricket over the last four seasons.
