Well Tevez will go and be replaced in January. So for a start they will have a player to add to the squad and they may well go and get a centre back anyway. Wouldn't surprise me if they spent another £60m-£80m in January to try and get the title.

Keans not sacked yet? Been looking at my phone every 10 minute while on the subway and walking around Tiananmen waiting for the good news to break. Former Rovers legend (lunch time) Billy McKinlay was expected to be named Rovers new assistant manager this week but that was put on hold, so even before yesterdays shower, the owners were sharpening their knives. Apparently the Baby Face Assassin has been sounded out as a replacement...

There is not a chance in hell we'll spend 60m in January, in fact, I don't think we (or any club has for that matter) have ever spent 60m in January. Especially as all the top players will be cup tied for the Champions League. I'd be surprised if we spent 20m. 1 player in, 2 tops. Tevez to be sold/thrown off a cliff.

Citeh probably won't be in the Champions League by then tbf. But yeah, it's tough to improve the squad by buying players in January. A few relegation-threatened teams have used the window really well but I can't remember it making much of a difference to any title races.

Good word is RvP to replace Tevez.

Makes a lot of sense: out of contract at end of 12/13, proven Prem peformer, Citeh having a wide on for ex-Arsenal players, etc.

This young Goal Keeper on Work Experience needs to GTFO prompto or Chelsea will rack up a low scoring Rugby League score.

Fixed.

Piled onto Chelsea in a double with Citeh yesterday. I don't think most people had grasped just how poor the Bolton defence really is until today. And they wanted 20 million for Cahill .

Bolton look a real poor side. Always been rumours that if they got relegated they would be in financial meltdown like Leeds, Forest, Wednesday etc... We may find out soon if the rumour was correct.

Meh they have played Arsenal, Man City, Man Utd, LIverpool, Chelsea, much as I'd love to see their demise, they could easily be mid table after the next 6 games or so (Wigan, Sunderland, Swansea, Stoke, West Brom, Everton), its only the Norwich game they ****ed up.

Yeah look awful at the moment and the summer investment did very little to inspire, have had a ridiculously hard run of fixtures though, would still expect them to stay up.

Chelsea are quietly impressive though, like the way Villas-Boas is going about his work so far. David Luiz still can't defend though.

They have had a tough start but it is unusual for Bolton to roll over and let teams tickle their tummy as easily as they have done so far this season. If I was a Bolton fan i'd be worried.

Can't see it myself, 95% of clubs would want RvP, why would he come to one where he has no assurance of even being a substitute?
