Bolton look a real poor side. Always been rumours that if they got relegated they would be in financial meltdown like Leeds, Forest, Wednesday etc... We may find out soon if the rumour was correct.
Every team that's spent a reasonable amount of time before being relegated from the Premiership and failed to quickly bounce back has suffered some form of financial meltdown.

Can't see it myself, 95% of clubs would want RvP, why would he come to one where he has no assurance of even being a substitute?
Well, currency would obvz play a part, but sooner or later you're going to win the Prem and, frankly, we aren't. No matter how much love we show a player, the inescapable truth is we're no longer in the first rank of Prem teams in terms of salaries or prestige.

So he can something like double his money, maybe get a medal and I'd guess his injury record might put off teams with less bottomless pits.

Hope I'm wrong, but a surfeit of strikers doesn't seem to worry Citeh unduly.

BARNES OUT
Personally, I don't think we'll be bringing in another big name striker any time soon. I'd say we'll either bring in an older, more experienced striker who is there to play a role, or a youngster with serious talent. I'm obviously not privvy to the inner workings of the club, but if anything is to be learnt from this whole saga, it's that having 4 strikers that for all intents and purposes, should be starting most games isn't the best idea.

Sagna out with a broken fibula. ****,****,****, 3 months of Eastbourne's right back then. Jesus Christ only Rvp and Wojciech to get injured/die and almost all the players I feel should be in the team are going to be out.

Love the club but finding it really hard to like this team, what a shower. Coquelin was a shining light in said shower yesterday though. Great performance by him.

AWTA. injuries to Wojciech and RVP would mean my first choice in every position was out injured...

Fergie used to always say the opposite actually. But evidently things get awkward when one of them is Tevez.

Getting excited. Hopes are low, but hopefully our recent record at Anfield counts for something.

Taarabt to get off the mark for QPR tonight, just quietly.

United haven't shown up at Anfield for about three years now, wishfully thinking that today is the day that changes.

Very strange leaving Rooney on bench. Can only think Fergie reckons he not right in head at moment with his dad being arrested and that ban etc.

Pretty ordinary stuff so far, it must be said.

One of those games where it'll be a moment of brillance/high farce that decides it.

Hilarious example of the double standards some comms apply to English and foriegn players tho; Downing commits the most outrageous dive that the ref doesn't buy but rather than criticisng the sometime England winger for his simulation the comms have a go at Evra for brandishing the imaginary card. The French cad...
