Better team won, but the game was ruined by the ref. An awful decision to send Rodwell off; wasn't even a foul for my money.

Think Suarez reaching his arm up imploringly when he hit the deck helped to sell it to the hapless official too.

Was a good game until the ref spoilt it with a terrible decision. If i was Moyes i'd say it as it is, game ruined by the ref and the 12 men were always going to beat 10 in that heat. Least it would be one worth getting fined over.

Suarez is some player even if he is a **** of the highest order.

Has Rooney actually scored with one of those low percentage ****witted chips that he keeps trying? I think he must have somewhere but I can't remember a specific instance. His latest effort was against Norwich at the end of the game in a 1 on 1 situation.

I can't stress how ****ing dumb that option is in the overwhelming majority of the instances. Even when the lob is on you're usually better off just hitting it like a pass or cross, getting a better direction and pace on it. With these balls you can curl them a mile and it's effectively a horizontal lob.

Yes, they will spend again in January and improve even more.

I don't know if they'll make many big improvements in January but even as things stand I don't see any reason why they wouldn't be considered title challengers. Kompany staying fit is pretty key imo, the drop in quality between him and whoever replaces him is possibly the biggest in the squad.
