Gambhir and Dhoni bowling in tandem..somebody please kill me.
Its disappointing. It doesnt show a steel-minded approach to one of their few prep games. However it is probably understandable given they only had 3 bowlers again after Zaheer went down. So, what exactly is the point in having Gambhir and Dhoni bowling in a warm up? Are they planning on giving everyone a bowl in the Tests?
I'm going and I don't!I'm going to Edgbaston day 1 and I want to see a competition
Interesting comment. I'm sure BCCI care more about ODIs than Tests on the whole, but surely in isolation this Test series is more important than the ODI one?To the BCCI probably more than tests.
Would certainly think and hope so but then there is a bigger gap between the last test ending and the first ODI/T20 than there was between the squad arriving in England for the tests and the first test.Interesting comment. I'm sure BCCI care more about ODIs than Tests on the whole, but surely in isolation this Test series is more important than the ODI one?
Would it not interfere with T20 Finals as well?I think the ECB generally try and avoid having Tests run too far into the football season as well, though
Awta That Ball to Razzaq was EPIC!!!Give Munaf a go today and in the third warm up. I think he can find form. He was one of the WC heroes and therefore deserves a bit more of a chance. I'll never forget that ball to Razzaq, simply breathtaking.
It is a shame Aaron is missing the warm ups due to Visa issues, but hey, that just about sums up the BCCI.
