They're still on about India's slip cordon, but didn't Raina(?) take a Speccie at third in the first dig?

I imagine he's there for the one that won't carry to second, and tbf there's been a few of them in the series thus far.

So Trott will bat, but probably at 9/10. Wouldn't expect he will last long
I know I'm probably jinxing him, but given Broad's form in his last two innings, he really has to bat ahead of Bresnan: it would be madness to risk leaving him stranded, especially with Swann's hand injury probably being an issue.

England mirroring Dravid and Laxman yesterday by looking much tighter this morning than they did last night.

This is precisely where Zaheer is really missed by India. Not so much when it's hooping everywhere, but when it isn't.

I was thinking the same - Broad was saying that the heavy roller at the start of the day calmed the wicket down significantly.

Good to see them playing their shots. Looks like the roller does give a big help to batting in the morning, so they need to take advantage.

The better Bell looks, the more you start to worry he'll do something daft. Odd that I still can't shake that after the last couple of years he's had, but he's got a lot to prove today. Crucial runs and all that.
