There have been some sharp catches by India for sure. We (England) have I'd suggest been below our recent standards in terms of fielding- especially with some of the drops. England are a younger side for sure which may explain it (general difference in ground fielding) somewhat- but then ever since I can remember (been following cricket since 2005), subcontinental sides have not exactly been fantastically mobile in the field. Seems to me SA and before they went downhill Australia were probably the best in terms of fielding.Indian ground fielding might not be good but slip catchers are pretty good though.. while England have dropped some dollies.
Now that i'm over the shock... that was some wonderful bowling by Broad... Finally some luck went his way...... don't like the **** because is poor behaviour but he is pretty good cricketer.
Why bring a WK-Bat in when they have guys like Taylor waiting for a chance. (Assuming Bopara doesn't get the spot ahead of him )If Trott is out next test, would England consider bringing in another keeper and plating Prior as a batsman?
Im really not sure I can make head or tail of this question. I'm hoping you were drunk when you typed it.If Trott is out next test, would England consider bringing in another keeper and plating Prior as a batsman?
"It's after 5 o'clock somewhere!"At 11:40am?
It's pretty simple as far as questions go, typo notwithstanding. The fact others have provided comment on it would suggest as much too. I think you're just an utter divot though, so it follows you may not get it.Im really not sure I can make head or tail of this question. I'm hoping you were drunk when you typed it.
Thanks mate, real class shown from a staff member no less. It's pretty simple as far as questions go, typo notwithstanding. The fact others have provided comment on it would suggest as much too. I think you're just an utter divot though, so it follows you may not get it.
Would England consider playing Prior purely as a batsman and bringing in another keeper for the next test, instead of going to some idiot who's averaging 36 in second division, or back to a sack of fail like Bopara or throw some young bloke in at three who's unproven? So you would have the current openers, Bell at three, Pietersen four, LOLMorgan or his replacement at five, Prior at six and AN Other keeper.
I realise that for all other posters its a simple question and one which can be either agreed or disagreed with in a simple and polite fashion, but unfortunately I had to spell it out for TEC who's made precisely no positive posts in his entire time on CW, a place far richer for his frequent long absences given the fact he's such a sour ****.
imo that would be better or at least the equivalent of getting another keeper in, because Prior is clearly good enough for his keeping to not affect his batting.Would England consider playing Prior purely as a batsman and bringing in another keeper for the next test, instead of going to some idiot who's averaging 36 in second division, or back to a sack of fail like Bopara or throw some young bloke in at three who's unproven? Well it won't happen, firstly. If Trott is out next test, would England consider bringing in another keeper and plating Prior as a batsman?
That's ok mate. I've plainly over-reacted, given the overwhelmingly civil tone of your post to me. Given the pleasant soul you always are, you're well within your rights to take offence at what I posted. Thanks mate, real class shown from a staff member no less.
Not that I disagree with any of it either, bar of course your opinion on cricket.
I'm also happy any time a player who chose to play in the IPL, and skip the Test tour of the West Indies, fails in this series....
Get Yuvraj cheaply, and then I can really enjoy the day.
Dravid shelling them though. The ones he is dropping are easier than the ones England are.Indian ground fielding might not be good but slip catchers are pretty good though.. while England have dropped some dollies.

You are kidding me. The one Pietersen dropped was a dolly.Dravid shelling them though. The ones he is dropping are easier than the ones England are.
Can see your point, possibly play Bedwetter as a batsman as Prior is settled as keeper. Think it is a certainty they will call up Bloopara though, he got a matchwinning ton in the current round of matches and Morgan gets another chance despite not deserving one as you wouldn't want 2 new bats in the top 6.If Trott is out next test, would England consider bringing in another keeper and plating Prior as a batsman?
