*Official* Second Test at Trent Bridge

Without checking the numbers, I swear the Indian attack suddenly realizes they actually have to do something without Zaheer. When we toured there last year Zaheer missed the last test and Jesse's pie shop closed down.
Totally agree with the above.
Would be interesting to see Ishant, Sree and Bhajji's figures with and without Zaheer.
Would attribute Ishant's resurgence in previous match's second innings also to that realization.

i want england to be bowled out for 150 (sree 6/60) and then india to declare at 600/4 (tendulkar 300*). Then bowl england out for an almost match saving 430 after tea on the 5th day.

:) make it happen team.

It's not hooping round corners like it did first up at Lord's tbf. India have simply bowled much better.

Warne on comms! Gun.

Even that shot from KP, though. Didn't try to play a wafty drive like Trott, just a compact block to quite a similar ball.

From cricinfo..
"Last time India played against England in TRENT BRIDGE," starts Lingavan, "the fall of wickets were 1-4 (Strauss, 2.3 ov), 2-24 (Vaughan, 8.6 ov), 3-47 (Pietersen, 14.4 ov), 4-101 (Collingwood, 32.2 ov), 5-109 (Cook, 35.5 ov), 6-147 (Prior, 45.6 ov), 7-157 (Bell, 50.3 ov), 8-186 (Tremlett, 59.4 ov), 9-195 (Panesar, 62.5 ov), 10-198 (Anderson, 65.3 ov) Next wicket is expected to fall in 40's or 50's. So folks take some rest."

spot on!

"Haha, are you even watching? "
@ Howe
i watched the first 8 overs. now im in my room.
conditions aren't as friendly as they were at lords.
plus they are expected to remain like this throughout the match so india should've batted..
and the curator has said that the ball here swings more when theres sunshine

once england get a good score, india will lose due to scoreboard pressure alone..

Praveen had most of his swing behind the stumps on day one at Lord's. The track here is seriously green and patchy at the business end.

Lovely stuff from Kipper.

Ganguly "Sreesanth continuing his habit to ball well to the South Africans"

Harsha " 2 more at the crease let's see how he goes"
Absolutely dire to refer to Strauss as a South African. ****ing awful comment.
