The more I see that the more I have to wonder what on earth Trott was doing trying to cover drive that.

Aaaah!! I see.And where do your curses for umpires go when they give Indian batsmen out in this way?? Huh?
It's because of India that wrong decisions are being made, tbh. They can do something about it. Everybody else wants DRS.

So I would just laugh instead of curse.

I wasn't hiding.

If the ball is missing on Hawk-eye, it should be not out.
If the ball is clipping the leg stump when the batsman is more than 2.5m down the track, I don't mind if it is in or out.

It's just baffling how one can be so concerned about the predictive path yet complain over the margin of error. The margin of error is built in because the system isn't 100%, and within that margin of error either decision is perfectly acceptable.

Baffling.
First of all it has to hit the middle stump for it to be out more than 2.5m ahead, which is a weakness of the system if it is going to be out if hits 2.4m in the line absolutely smacking middle of leg.
Secondly the concern is not just about balls which hit 2.6 m but to those which hit 2.4 metre down too or 1.65 metre down which applies to the one in which he was given out too as it was just going over the top "according to the Hawkeye". Hence, both the decisions were equal technicality by .1 m or not and marginal for me.

You can claim whatever you want. Not really interested in debating this all again on here right now, tbh.

Yep. Indians are concerned for the predictive path which showed it just missing the stumps for the one he was given out too. Can't just hide behind the weakness of the predictive path and the system in one instance.
Get to the point.

The BCCI are a bunch of whiny tossers who are concerned their national side will have to beat teams without the 5-10% advantage they keep getting series after series. They have no legitimate grounds to complain, unless they want to send India around the world on ****ing wooden ships powered by currents, air and slaves and lend WG's equipment from the museum.

england to be 300 for 4 at the close of play.

or

england to be 130 for 2 at the close of play. having bowled india out for 150.
There is a good chance now that your second guess would come true. Only difference being in the teams quoted.8-)

2/24? Without Zaheer? Lift yer game, England.
Without checking the numbers, I swear the Indian attack suddenly realizes they actually have to do something without Zaheer. When we toured there last year Zaheer missed the last test and Jesse's pie shop closed down.

well not really
if other nations really wanted it, they would've voted for it in the icc meeting.

there were more votes against urds than in favour of it...

Good nut from Sree, poor choice of shot.

Reckon 300's a very good score here. Get to lunch three down and Id have it even.

300 is usually a good score at TB, isn't it?

Solid first hour's cricket, if only the level of discussion here were of similar quality.
