Yeah it must be a total dustbowl but Danny Briggs has 5 for 34 off 24 overs. Tahir wicketless....

Made a good start here, but 280 feels like a marathon away in this match. Will be more than happy if Rudolph is still there at the close. (Assuming we're not 5 down or something.)

To be fair he's got reasonable figures this season. If Morgan doesn't do well this series, him at 6/7 in the Winter?

Maynard and de Bruyn have just put on 170 in 21 overs at Guildford, quite something for a side following on.

Hopefuly Sidebottom doesn't have the same effect as last innings...they still have Rashid, Shahzad and Pyrah to come...first innings centurion batting at 11 lol

It's going to be very hard to chase this down now, after losing Bresnan second to last over, it's going to need some Pyrah mania again to see us over the line.

If that's based on him bowling some part time left arm spin then no. If Morgan has a poor series then his spot should go to the best batting option. 2 spinners in the subcontinent, unless we all of a sudden get someone as good as Swann, would be beyond ********.

Averaging nearly 50 and has 36 wickets at 29!

Samit's bowling will be utterly yawnworthy against the Indian top seven in India, slow bowlers of his standard are ten-a-penny over there. I'd rather play another seamer.

And that's why it's frustrating, that Rashid hasn't kicked on this season and become the player everyone thought he should be.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Yorkshire's tail wag and see them home today.

Hope Luke Sutton declares early and gets stuck in to the Northants batsmen.

It looked quite possible while Rashid and Shahzad were adding 53 for the 9th wicket. Maybe not now, although it seems bizarre that Pyrah's coming in at XI.

I still think they'll do it, he hit a 100 in the first innings, insane stuff.

Derby need 8 wickets, Northants need another 310 odd. Hope we can win.
