Hopefully Somerset can do us a favour and account for Durham, would get us back in the hunt. No advantage to either party having bresnan staying at Lords to be the 12th man.

It is not a massively uncommon thing to happen. I am sure I have heard of more cases of people leaving county games rather than coming into them. I may have just dreamed that one up though.
