I could only agree that Mcgrath was a great chucker.
Nothing that it he deserves.
Even his own contrymen accept this fact.

See here:

Moreover, I also do not admire him much also 'coz he false appealing was the way for him to get wickets.
I Rate Vettori higher than this typical australian idiot bcoz of his character and honesty.

Yes, but he does deserve some credit from Australian for cheating.
This kind of posting is trolling, and is not acceptable on here.

lol where the hell do you get links like this did you make it up? And lol Greg Matthews? As in the guy that was cheering for England in 2005 during the Ashes? Isn't he considered a lunatic?

Matthew's is a former australian cricket, do check his wiki.
I see people here get offended too much about anything not well favoring them.

Oh, don't equate every one of us with the crowd that pitches their tents in threads which start out, continue and end up as pissing contests - the UDRS, Bradman-Tendulkar, Dhoni-Harper type threads.

It's just that it is that crowd that makes the maximum amount of noise. And their cacophony tends to drown out every one else.

I doubt he was here long enough to see much of that. This what he was complaining about in his thread:

Is it reasonable here for you guys to neglect India and giving undeserving respect to Australia and that too for their cheating..
Genuine youtube troll. I guess even they show up here time to time.

I really did have a good old laugh at at that troll post. It was only slightly above average until the last line admitting that McGrath does deserve some credit - for cheating - at which point it became awesome.

Yeah it's the kind of post which makes one suspect he wasn't actually trolling but really meant it. Which is both hilarious and alarming.

Anyway, back on topic, what wrong with a bit of glam?
nothing wrong with a bit of glamour at all (remember I am the biggest Imran Khan fan on CW :p) but the glamour doesn't make a bowler better than another. It is the wicket taking that takes precedence over the fancy pants tricks of the trade.

I agree that fancy pants aren't the most important thing to have in your life. But when one's pants are the very fanciest, that is a thing worth applauding.

so who isn't applauding Wasim????

BTW a more interesting question would be as to who would you put in your team?

As in who is the more useful cricketer to a side? Wasim who is close to McGrath as a bowler, and is a handy bat and a good fielder or would you prefer McGrath. That would be a tougher question.

In fact we should have a poll on the question

Will point out that as far as fast bowling outfielders are concerned McGrath is one of the very best, ever.

in terms of fielding Akram edges McGrath. Had a very powerful arm as well as great ground fielding

Considering how very clueless he was when he first came into the side, that he turned himself into even a decent fielder was a miracle.
