English Domestic Season 2011

Really is sublime for the ridiculous for Somerset this year. I was just thinking Tresco didn't have a great strike-rate, that was until the 19th over.

That's an absolute jaffa from Shakib. Pitches middle and leg and hits the top of off. About the perfect SLA delivery.

Worcs not dead yet. 21/2 off 4.3

Looks like the dodgy Durham pace attack has received a good spanking for Hussey and Co.

What odds on Colli getting to double figures?

Shame Clark couldn't get on strike in the last over. Great knock from the young lad.

Drove over and expected the rain to come down as soon as I got there, given my previous recent visits to headingly, so pleasantly surprised we got the game in. Shame about the result

Whose bright idea was it to schedule almost no First Class cricket between this Test and the first Test against India?

Hampshire playing a random four day game in the middle of the months of twenty20, utterly dreadfull scheduling, which rather hides the fact that it we do not win it then I have next to no hope of staying up.

Pretty amazing comeback for Kent. Reduced to 21/6 after 7 overs, recover to 115, and now they're walking it. Middlesex 74/7 after 17.

Middlesex bottom of the southern group, and you can see why. Must be the worst T20 side in the country.

Hmm Lancs have used 6 bowlers today and Tom Smith and Kyle Hogg are playing but haven't bowled an over. Seems to be working though

With Yorkshire's batting this season I'm happy to be saved by the weather at Durham.

Kent getting the favour returned for their T20 heist, I see. What a strange innings from Jones - 11 off 38 balls including a four and a six.

I'd just be happy for Hampshire to start winning games which aren't T20 games. They don't seem capable this season for some reason.

Still, retaining the T20 crown will be some conpensation, just so long as they don't drop out of County Div 1.

Oddly enough they were 22 for 6 today, but the similarity looks like ending there. Middx 50 for 0 in reply to 87ao.

Kent 87 a/o
Middlesex 153 a/o
Kent 4/1

Day 1.

Someone's getting docked.

Edit: Kent close on 33/3.
