Great stuff from the spinners but I get the impression it's harder to score here than it looks, slow wicket and big boundaries. 120-130 might be a good score.

Rafiq has definitely got something about him, knew exactly what he wanted to do, at the end and also bowled beautifully as well.
I thought Rashid had blown it for us, only getting 9 off 18 balls, but it was a great game to watch and exciting stuff at the end.

Don't wish to jinx the boy, but Sammy Patel bowling very tidily in the T20 v Warwicks to follow his breezy 37 off 29.

Should be a lock for our limited overs squad.

But why has he, apparently, bowled 4.3 overs so far?

Edit: Nah, they fixed it.

Patel has to be a shoo-in now!

Not bad this from Woakes either! Shame his bowling wasn't upto much though!
First game back in over a month for Woakes, so can't read too much into his bowling. I think he should defo get into England's T20 team ahead of Wright and I'd have Patel ahead of Yardy.

Yeah, I'd have Rashid ahead of Yardy too, for his bowling, he can bat at 10 though. Even Briggs too, see no problem with throwing a young un in to the shortest form. Yet Samit should be the man, in 20/20 and 50/50, all depends if the selectors feel he's shaping up.

Interesting the comment about the winter tour. How we accommodate a second spinner and reverse swing could make the team look subtly different.Interesting selections ahead.
