]Can't remember such a more unlikely win in a Test match ever.[/B] People just assumed this would peter out to a draw. Maybe that's the mentality that Sri Lanka had too and just switched off mentally?

Great bowling by Tremlett and Swann though.
England vs Australia, Adelaide 2007?

Someone tell me a more unexpected day 5 result. I cannot think of one.
Not many from an England pov. There was an England game in the nineties against Pakistan at home when the latter collapsed and England just chased down a small total. The fiddled England chase against SA, Adelaide '06...

But nothing in my memory that has changed course so dramatically in 24.4 overs.

Because of the time remaining after the long delay to the start of the day's play, I'd say today was even more remarkable than the 2007 test in Adelaide.

This was the first test that I thought of when I checked the scorecard and saw England had won. It had an insane day five finish too, but this one takes the cake.

If your three bowlers bowl that well, you don't need a fourth. Incredible to think this was done without their best bowler.
Massive win all round for England. What a lovely bowling display. I'm still bitter enough about Melbourne to feel rather pleased that someone has been WORSE, FAR, FAR WORSE.

They've found the bloke who should partner Anderson in the future with the new ball.

I thought everyone realized in 2009, that Broad was a better first change bowler, than opening bowler and I was surprised after the Ashes, that they've taken the new ball off Tremlett. When Jimmy's fit , it should always be him and Tremlett opening.

Haha I've already posted about that. Agree so so so much.
