English Domestic Season 2011

zaremba

Cricketer Of The Year
Sussex 95-8. Amjad seems to be coming in at 11 which makes me fear he's unfit to bat.

Not good.

Andre

International Regular
Simon Guy keeping for Yorks - didn't realise he was still around the traps, Brophy injured?

Jacknife

International Captain
KP goes on 58, by the sounds of it on the radio, they thought it was a poor decision, Lbw when he was a long way down.

Paul Grayson gave Lonwabo Tsotsobe a public and very big dressing down. Been Essex's worst overseas signing since Dale Steyn.

Never knew Steyn had a poor stint at Essex. When did this happen and what did his numbers look like?

Woodster

International Captain
In all fairness, that was a very different Dale Steyn to the one we see these days. He had the pace but lacked anything like the control we see him possess these days.

True, but it does seem to be a recurring theme, doesn't it? He wasn't anywhere near his best on the 2008 tour, and that was between having two brilliant Test seasons.

He missed two Tests in that series, didn't he? Bowled quite well at Headingley IIRC.
