Just under 50% of Trinis, and just over 50% of Guyanese, are Indo-Caribbean people, descended from indentured labourers who were imported by the British into the West Indies from Madras and Calcutta. Lots of the Indians who came from Calcutta were Muslims, hence the following cricketers played for the West Indies - Faoud Bacchus (Guyana), Imtiaz Ali (Trinidad), Inshan Ali (Trinidad), Dave Mohammed (Trinidad). Imran Khan plays for Trinidad and Amir Khan plays for the Guyana youth team....
