Also, is Bairstow the Shane Watson of County Cricket? HS of 80odd but average of 40odd, 16 fifties or something
First hundred today

Been a long time coming - he has a knack for making runs when no-one else does, leaving him stranded; or he just happens to be the performer on a day where 70 is a good score. Top batsman.

Warks 106/7 at lunch, great session for us. Good to see Kerrigan back in the team and Proctor has bowled a great spell. Hopefully finish them off this afternoon. Maybe they will see the merit of a Sajless attack.

Yes , good to see him get his first ton, looks like he might be left with no support again, lets hope Siddy, can continue his all rounder impressions.

Bairstow gets his 150 off 223, great support by Siddy.
Tea, with him on 199no, I bet he could have done without that.
Gets to 200 with a 6, well done Jonny, brilliant support by Siddy.
Siddy then hits a 6 next ball, to take them to 150 partnership
Out for 205 and declared.:D

I remember Bairstow was the one guy who put up resistance when Yorkshire lost chasing 140 odd recently. Was left stranded on that occasion IIRC.

Kent's attack is scary bad. Darren Stevens isn't even a second change bowler let alone an opening bowler. Even in Zimbabwean domestic cricket he only did that twice.

Northants 5 best batsman by average all bat from 6 down. While a few more runs from Hall, Vaas and Middlebrook today and the three of them would have scored more runs this season than Northants top 5 combined.

Surrey in a good position (again). Wonder how they will let this one slip.

Good start for Yorkshire to get four wickets in the session, but they'll likely have to enforce the follow on by tonight to keep the chance at a win. Hopefully they've figured out how to dismiss Read since last time, can just see him digging notts out of it.

Good day at the Oval yesterday, Tremlett looking fit and bowling well which bodes well for England.

Very entertaining innings from Roy he really does hit the ball hard and was great to see Ramps, just strolled to a 50 seemingly without any effort whatsoever.

Still a lot work to do for Hampshire but the middle order is finally getting some runs, these rose bowl pitches are too flat though. Need Tahir back as soon as possible.
