English Domestic Season 2011

Hope that is the case, just think it is a concern if a player can't play two weeks running though.
He's only just played his first game after about 18 months, no point in rushing him straight into his second appearance if there are the inevitable signs of stiffness around his body. Good management if you ask me because you would always want Graham Onions in your side, cannot be easy to rest a player of his quality, but definitely a worthwhile move imo with such a hectic schedule.

Impressive counter-attack from Hales. Kind of alarming that Notts reached 100 before lunch when they were 60/6 half an hour ago.

Notts 143 then with Hales last man out for 85. Pyrah 5-58 and Sidebottom 4-30. Brilliant display by Yorkshire but to let Pyrah get 5 is a bit poor by Notts.
Yorkshire 6-1 Root out first ball, pitch inspectors starting their engines?

On England 6th batter watch i see Hildreth was out stumped for 55 and Taylor who is captaining Leicestershire is currently unbeaten on 93 against Loughborough MCCU, be interesting if this kickstarts both their seasons.

Hales presumably looking to go down fighting - 4,6,W to end the innings. 85 off 89 balls for him with the next best score 15.

Young England getting all the runs this morning. Fifties for Hildreth and Hales, while Cook and Taylor close in on hundreds, and Davies is 23* for Surrey. Lyth to complete the set by the end of the day, surely?

Lyth will do his usual thing, get himself well set and get out.

100 for Cook and Taylor. :)

Warwickshire having such a strange time of it, after utterly hammering favourites Somerset they're struggling against Worcs, 148/8 now. Chris Woakes is on 12* from 6 balls, having hit three fours in one over.

Just got back from Headingley, thought I'd treat myself to my first live game of the season and I couldn't of picked a better day to go, lovely weather and Sidey and Pyrah running through the Notts side, which was a bit of a surprise because it looked a belting day for batting.
Was very impressed with Hales, a great bit of counter attacking cricket and really does look a class act when he's in form. Had to get back home, before the start of Yorkies inning got started, but they've done well so far, 65-1, just loosing Root.

Hopefully we can roll the tail pretty quickly. Surprised Somerset haven't bolstered it since the last game. Always good to get Trego quickly

Excellent stand btween Lyth (52*) and McGrath (48) to get Yorkshire to tea at 104/1. About time the top order put some scores in this season. Converting starts is Lyth's biggest weakness right now, it'd be fantastic for him to go on here after finally getting one.

Woakes provides the rear guard again for Warks, finishing on 47* from 52 balls. Warwickshire managed 201*, not bad after slumping to 148/8.

Meanwhile Leics have taken full control at Grace Road - 17 year-old Shiv Thakor has hit a hundred on FC debut while Taylor seems set for a first-day double, he's on 175*. This stand is an unbroken 268. Not exactly the most testing attack in the book, I grant you, but it was good enough to reduce Leicestershire to 6/3 this morning.

Dont think the Leics games is first class tbh, think its Oxford, Cambridge and Durham games that do these days, the others are 'MCC University Matches'
