Unless someone in the ICC didn't want Uppercut to remain a cricket fan...Conspiracy theory not the term for what Corrin was referring to mate. Not even relevant at all.

Sharad Pawar has asked ICC to reconsider the decision in July meeting in Hong Kong as per ICC media release. Hope they make it atleast a 12 nation cupDon't know any info, but the yellow bar on Sky News is saying the ICC may consider changing their mind about only having 10 teams in 2015

I think I'll live in my fantasy world and say the petition worked
Yeah, that's a pretty good point. We're used to expressing our opinions because we're lucky enough to live in a society where we can expect that people will generally try to empathise and take our position into account. When the ICC effectively announces that Irish cricket fans are negligible, what am I supposed to do? They've already decided I'm irrelevant. Ranting about it would just feel like yelling hopelessly at a cloud. It's enormously frustrating that there is such a huge groundswell of support for Ireland yet it achieves nothing - we're spoilt by living in democracies - there must be plenty of folk round the globe who'll wonder what we're bleating about
Great! If the ICC board votes could somehow be made open, so that we would get to know who voted which way, the earlier decision would be overturned unanimously.Good News!!
Hopefully they reconsider their decision now.
Pawar isn't stupid, he wouldn't say this publically without the backing of the BCCI at least.
Why would it be overturned?Great! If the ICC board votes could somehow be made open, so that we would get to know who voted which way, the earlier decision would be overturned unanimously.
I suppose the decision now would be twelve teams instead of ten; can't see the ICC asking West Indies, Bangladesh or Zimbabwe to earn their places on merit.
But i am surprised BCCI Voted with the others on this as they have been the most major supporters of giving Affiliates more rights in the past
BCCI and Dalmiya was the main architecht of Bangladesh getting a full membership status and Zimbabwe retaining it .You have an article/basis for that? Because I read somewhere that BCCI doesn't want Ireland, etc becoming full members because it would lessen the voting power of the Asian bloc. A voting domination in all matters that BCCI enjoys..
