2015 World Cup: 10 teams and no associates

Sadly there's not enough of a monetary incentive for the larger nations, particularly India, to do such a thing. India have yet to host Bangladesh in a home Test series ffs - there's more chance of me hitting the winning century in the 2015 final than there is of the richer nations hosting Ireland.
In the past it was West Indies, England and Australia who were the big boys. Now it's India, England, Aus and SA who are the big boys.

FTR, SL did not play a Test match against WI till 1993. Go figure

Everything boils down to $$$ at the end of the day.

Nah, he wasn't around much during the WC also. He'll be back, I'm sure.

Anyone noticed Uppercut has hardly been here since this happened?

The guy lives and breathes cricket, or he did. Could just be a coincidence but, well, that'd be a shame hey.
Hasn't been properly around for a while now, IIRC he was in Europe for some of the World Cup games so could still be away and/or busy. I hope.

Still living and breathing cricket though, his Facebook update yesterday to confirm.

It definitely would. But I couldn't blame him at all - I'd be really ****ing disillusioned if this had happened to my team.

Wouldn't it be a bit overboard to kill yourself (assuming that is what you are implying) just because your team got excluded from the WC? I'd be pretty ****ing pissed off if it happened to me, but still......

Want him to come back, would be the most epic rant ever.

I assumed we were talking about losing interest in cricket and not posting on CW any more.

Well that's what I felt Corrin was implying!
Now that you mention it, "that'd be a shame, hey" is probably how GIMH would react if he heard someone was thinking of committing suicide. Such is his ****ness as a bloke.

If it was you then that's what I'd say, but rest assured it would be laced with sarcasm

Well it turns out Uppercut's actually posted in the thread, which denies the conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy theory not the term for what Corrin was referring to mate. Not even relevant at all.
