*Official* Australia in Bangladesh

Hoping for a classy Ponting ton today, the signs are there. It's sad to see Siddons get turfed but entirely suprising. It seems just as Bangladesh were starting to make real progress as a side 6 months ago, there sliding backwards again. It's frustrating for everyone but I'd hate to be a BD fan as well.
I sometimes struggle to feel compassion for fans that throw rocks at the opposing teams bus

Ponting as an opening batsman is such an awesome move. If he wasn't an ATG number 3, he would have made a fantastic opener.

Watson just continuing his innings from two days ago. Can we start the World Cup now please?

I really liked what I saw of Ponting amid the Watson circus on Monday. This just strikes me as a really good move, and as has been said already, Tendulkar is a good case study.

What are we witnessing here?

Great to see this team play with a freedom it hasn't for ages. I realise it's because of the state of the series and that Bangladesh are school yard, but still. This brings to mind Gilchrist and Hayden just going coc bananas knowing they had such a great middle order behind them.

Just get the impression these blokes want to try to break some records.
