From cricinfo: Watson averages 32.81 in the first innings in ODIs, and 64.30 in the second.

So what we need to do is tell Watto he's chasing 350 in the first innings every time and he'll run it down himself.

Bangladesh v Australia: Watson's knock was one-off, says Nafees | Cricket News | Bangladesh v Australia | ESPN Cricinfo

Shahriah Nafees the Bangladesh batsman, has said his side can take positives out of Monday's match at the Shere Bangla Stadium, despite their crushing loss to Australia. He said Shane Watson's storming knock of 185 off 96 balls, during which he broke the record for the most number of sixes in a one-day innings with 15, was a "once-in-a-lifetime" performance, and Bangladesh's score would have been competitive had they not caught Watson on "his day."
hah, you're kidding. 220-odd was a decent score considering where they were but still think it was well below par!

15 sixes is nothing much Most of them were hit without even getting the feet to the pitch of the ball. as these aussies will never learn to use their feet against spin
Yuvraj has hit 6 sixes off stuart broad's over and Virender sehwag can butcher any kind of attack and will break this record quite easily some day

ind33d. The commos were talking about how fantastic the total was at the innings break and I was sitting there like "um no..".

While it wasn't a good total by any stretch of mind, I can remember Bangladesh strangling their opponents after scoring 220 odd. A massive innings by Watson.

Remember something similar by Ijaz against India. We scored some 220 or 230 and Pak chased it down in 26 or so overs.

Yeah against a then poor/complacent NZ side. Bangladesh are complete rubbish and it is a good thing that this series includes no tests. Even at home on their tailor made slow, low, turd wickets, they get he-****ed.

Wish I could have watched Watson tear Abdur Razzak a new one. Regardless of the attack it sounds a truly phenomenal innings and rather Watson hold the most sixes in an innings record than Xavier Marshall!

Honestly though it looked flat. Not as flat as Watson made it look, but flat enough that 220 was clearly 30+ runs below par.
