Should have a good impact on the training ground if nothing else. Might spur Almunia into action as well considering their past history.

"Nobody in England believed we could even fight for the top four," he admitted.

"The fact we are in the position we are in, I think, deserves a lot of credit.

"We still have it (steel and mental strength). I don't question that."

"I question myself *always, but don't *worry about that if that is your worry,"

"If I listened to *everybody, then it is a miracle that we are playing for the title with 10 games to go.

"It's been very *difficult for the *players, but they have never shown any sign of weakness mentally.

Nah seriously, listen to this guy. He's working miracles. And living in La La Land.

The majority of this squad has been mentored and developed by Wenger. The lack of a winning mentality that runs through the Arsenal team is down to one man and one man only.
Yeah, I totally agree. But he's also responsible for everything that's good about the club- that they have a sparkly new stadium, that in terms of support they're the country's fastest-growing club, that they manage to compete with clubs run by billionaires without either running up massive debts or charging exorbitant ticket prices, that they're the best team to watch in the country. None of this would have been possible without Wenger. Even the concern that he's not capable of actually winning the league is ridiculous because he's done it three times already.

Can't believe I have to make a post saying why Arsene Wenger shouldn't be sacked. Football fans are dire.

When I went to watch the home game against Bolton last year mine was something like £45 iirc. Which was well worth it given that the match was a cracker, had it stunk out the joint I'd have been really annoyed at shelling out that much.

Wenger is a deadset legend, and he's done an absolutely fantastic job, I'm not going to argue that - my point is simply that I'm not sure he's necessarily the right man to take the club forward.

If he left this summer, whoever took over would have a dream job.

But if he left this summer, whoever took over would undisputably be a worse manager than Wenger is, and it's strange to assume they'd do a better job.

The players would hate it too. It'd be a disaster for the club on so many levels.

We have massive debts and charge the highest/second highest ticket prices in the world. He was fantastic before but not so now.

Yeah, he's done so well in creating a situation for himself whereby no other manager could use the players he's assembled and where he has no accountability with regards to winning anything.

I have a feeling that Inter will get Manchester United in the quarter's and thus get beaten 5-0 at OT.
