DWTA.Who? There's nobody out there better than Wenger.
Yeah, I totally agree. But he's also responsible for everything that's good about the club- that they have a sparkly new stadium, that in terms of support they're the country's fastest-growing club, that they manage to compete with clubs run by billionaires without either running up massive debts or charging exorbitant ticket prices, that they're the best team to watch in the country. None of this would have been possible without Wenger. Even the concern that he's not capable of actually winning the league is ridiculous because he's done it three times already. The majority of this squad has been mentored and developed by Wenger. The lack of a winning mentality that runs through the Arsenal team is down to one man and one man only.
Wenger is a deadset legend, and he's done an absolutely fantastic job, I'm not going to argue that - my point is simply that I'm not sure he's necessarily the right man to take the club forward.Yeah, I totally agree. Can't believe I have to make a post saying why Arsene Wenger shouldn't be sacked. Football fans are dire.
Not seen the game, don't need to to reiterate what roughly 17.24% of my total posts have said, namely Wes Brown is ****ing beyond gash.Wes Brown WAG, hope to see lots more of him this season
But if he left this summer, whoever took over would undisputably be a worse manager than Wenger is, and it's strange to assume they'd do a better job.Wenger is a deadset legend, and he's done an absolutely fantastic job, I'm not going to argue that - my point is simply that I'm not sure he's necessarily the right man to take the club forward.
If he left this summer, whoever took over would have a dream job.
Yeah, he's done so well in creating a situation for himself whereby no other manager could use the players he's assembled and where he has no accountability with regards to winning anything. But if he left this summer, whoever took over would undisputably be a worse manager than Wenger is, and it's strange to assume they'd do a better job.
The players would hate it too. It'd be a disaster for the club on so many levels.
