We stunk so hard tonight. Note to Mancini, playing a 3-man midfield consisting of slow defensive midfielders isn't going to work. Dzeko had to work so hard tonight to just get the ball because Silva was off and Ballotelli spent half his time on the field clutching at his face and standing still on the spot.

Aye, watched most of the game, and you were poor. Balotelli can be good, if someone can find where his head is at. Never got the Dzenko love, didnt look great when we played Wolfsburg, haven't seen anything of note for you. Silva for all his fancy footwork just isn't clicking with those around him, and his shooting is on par with Andersons.
Were no better mind, infact your problem is good players misfiring, ours is average players misfiring. We need a new midfield, instead they all got new contracts. Our weakness in the middle is quite frankly embarrasing

Good game that, can't fault the Arsenal performance, any lesser team they'd have walked it.
Smalling was immense, the Da Silva's did a great job on the wings, and Hernandez was fantastic at reading the game again (for the first, he'd peeled off to make his run before it'd even been passed to Rooney, thinking 2 steps ahead lead to the goal)
Awesome to see Valencia back, so much a better midfield with him in. Performances like that and the league is ours IMO.
Saw both sides of Scholes though. Having said that, Wiltshire lunge in the seconds before was in the Scholes vein, and Nasri went straight for Scholes' head after the tackle, maybe the ref thought showing a card to Scholes would've meant showing one to Nasri too.... Might've done you a favour by just telling the players to pack it in. We were fearing the worst from it though.
