Honestly, I don't see how anyone can be against the UDRS after seeing that recent Harper LBW decision. Was so obviously going high in real-time. And a dismissal like that can be the difference between a huge Canada upset win or a loss.

It's funny how different the powerplay is for a minnow side and a decent team. If you can't pierce the field you aren't much chance of scoring. The minnows always look like they're playing for survival until the shine goes off the ball and they can start nurdling a bit more.

I think it works just as hard against them when they come out to bowl for the opposite reasons because anything slightly off line gets punished. I don't mind the powerplays on the whole but I think it's driven a further gap between the top teams and the associate sides.

From the England warmup game, we know the Canadian lower order can bat a bit. Let's hope it isn't required though.
