It does a bit, but it shows even more what a **** and pointless series that was in Oz. Different conditions, different intensity, this is the prelude to a big tournament, that was an afterthought after a big series.Jesus. How **** does this make England look?
Pretty much.let's look at the positives - SA have probably peaked too early and they'll pick the wrong bowlers anyway.
Well mate if you want to flog the English side then go ahead, but didn't this same 'pedestrian' Aussie bowling attack run through what many see as the best batting line-up in the world only a couple of days ago....?Jesus. How **** does this make England look?
Fair point, though I wouldn't call Tait and Lee "pedestrian". I didn't say this makes England ****. It just makes them look ****.Well mate if you want to flog the English side then go ahead, but didn't this same 'pedestrian' Aussie bowling attack run through what many see as the best batting line-up in the world only a couple of days ago....?
yeah i wonder why the hell was junaid khan not used. Afridi can be such a bonehead sometimesPakistan have wrapped up the game and have won by 88 runs. I hope Afretard uses Junaid Khan in the next warm-up against England.
I think it should be a good thing. At least they can negotiate the Bangladeshi spinners. It should give them some confidence. I think Pak may just be peaking at the right time. With the spot fixing thing behind them I think they will concentrate better. Even shoaib akhtar for once was able to give some mature comments. Sounds good to me. The team looks like a motivated bunch and everybody looks to be willing to put in the effort. That is all that the nation wants from them at this point in time tbh.....Not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing for Pakistan. They tend to do well in tournaments after losing (horribly) in the warm-ups. The victory was very unlike Pakistan too; the match was won on the back of good performances from several players, rather than a freak show from one player seeing them home.
