I can see South Africa reaching this total very comfortably about 3 down and say 8 overs to spare.
Yeah given their batting lineup, the fact their whole squad is playing and no Lee, they'd have to do something rank stupid to lose this one.

True. On the other hand, Australia might not have reached 200 if Botha and Parnell hadn't bowled.
It's less about the quality of the bowling and more about what vic said - that's a noticeable and obvious difference to a true ODI and it'll affect players (and the umpires ) subconsciously.

Lee came out to bat #11 according to cricinfo.
Cricinfo also said Tim Paine was batting when Krezja came out. The word was that Lee might well be rested so I'll go with that until I see him bowl.

EDIT: And surely Tait must be playing? If Lee really did come out at #11 then it's pretty obvious we're playing with our full squad, I think.

Yeah, we can't read too much into these. Just looking for individual performances really.

Precisely, which is why of the four performances that were actually legitimate, one was concerning, one was a shame but most likely a blip, one was encouraging and one was good.

I can see South Africa reaching 200/1 with ten overs left and then collapsing to lose by one run.

Jokes aside, I don't see this being a walk in the park for South Africa, unless Australia bowl very, very badly.

It's a warm-up game, etc etc etc... NO.

We're boned for this tournament.
Lost to Zimbabwe in a warm-up game before the T20 worldcup, but still managed to reach the final!!

No doubt there are some issues with the side but if anything losing these practice games might help us fix those problems, if we had won both these games then somehow some of those issues might have got masked.
