***Official*** Australian Domestic Season 2010/11

Cummins looks a find. Hardly put a foot wrong all tournament. It's hard to find a fault in his game at the moment. He is fast, he swings the new ball, and he does hit good areas.

Manage the injuries and we have a massive prospect in the making.

Thoughts from the more knowledgeable members on the ins/outs of training and physiology - what's the best way to treat an up-and-coming quick without injuring like we have with Starc, Hazlewood, Pattinson etc?

Dunno if it's actually possible. Even freaks like McG missed at least two whole seasons during his Test career due to injury. Normal people and blokes who are out-and-out pace bowlers can expect at least one season-ending injury before they hit their early 20's, tbh.

There have been some good finals some great performances in finals but not many. Dunno, pretty much ambivalent about the whole thing, especially as Spikey said it's relatively new.

Meanwhile, we're in the middle of summer and have gone seven weeks without a Shield game. Who is in form....nobody knows? Cricket Australia is a dead set joke, a point I will hammer home in my soon to be released essay - Australian Cricket Under the Microscope.

Anyone catch the blow up on Twitter between Brett Geeves and David Warner?

Brett Geeves
Any young children that saw D Warners reaction after hitting Hilf for biggest 6 ever - take that as an example of humility gone wrong.

David Warner
@brettygeevs don't know what kids would b following u but remember what u said to hughy that's right, lucky u were not playing, ****

Brett Geeves
@davidwarner31 it's a z. I get the feeling my name isn't the only one you have trouble spelling.

David Warner
@brettygeevz u want 2 talk humility u were lucky one player refused to follow up on your racial villification slur u made on the field
Geeves, who strikes me as an intellegent, witty guy vs Warner, who strikes me as the opposite.

Who cares? There isn't a test match until what June? Having Shield matches on now wouldn't matter ie form.

I've seen Warner talk, doesn't seem the sharpest tool in the shed unfortunately.

Warner not having the best of time, first he had a run-in with an opposition player in a grade game and now this, Though I don't mind the way he is batting these days, seems to be showing much more maturity when it comes to building an innings, which is good because he's too good a batsman to just throw his wicket everytime.
